Haul contest

Season 1 — 2026-07-30T19:22:00+00:00 to 2026-08-30T19:22:00+00:00. Prize: $500 in Kakobuy balance, split across the top 5. First place also gets shipping up to 10 kg paid in advance..

How to enter

• Posting a haul does not enter you. Entering is a separate choice: once your haul is published, open your account and tick “Enter this haul” next to it. If you never tick it, your haul still appears on the site, in Trending and on product pages — it is simply not in the prize ranking.
• Before you can enter you need your Kakobuy user ID saved on your account, and you need to be in our Discord. Both are on the same page as the tick box.
• One account per person. One entry per account. If you post several hauls, you choose which one is your entry.
• You must be 16 or older, a member of our Discord, and your account here must be linked to Discord. That is how we reach the winner; there is no other route.
• The operator, anyone helping run the site, and people living in their household cannot enter.
• Open worldwide, except where a prize contest of this kind is not permitted by local law. If your country makes the payout impossible, we cannot substitute it.

How the winner is decided

• Ranking is by likes: likes given on this site, plus any likes carried over from our Discord. One like is one like — no weighting, no time bonus.
• The number that counts is the one on the leaderboard when we close the season, which we do at or shortly after the closing time above. The standings are frozen at that moment and never move again; likes that arrive afterwards are still shown on the haul, they simply are not in the final table.
• If two entries have the same total, the one that reached that total first wins. If that is still equal, the one published first wins.
• 5 places are paid, out of one pot:
  • 1. $200 — plus shipping up to 10 kg paid in advance
  • 2. $120
  • 3. $80
  • 4. $60
  • 5. $40
• If fewer entries reach the end than there are paid places, the places nobody reached are not awarded and the money is not redistributed.
• We check the ranking by hand before announcing it, so that a person and not only a calculation decides who is paid.

Likes we remove, and likes we add

• We remove votes that show coordination — accounts created to vote, accounts that only ever vote for one person, several accounts voting from one connection. We decide those case by case and we do not publish the thresholds, because publishing them is a manual.
• We never remove a like to change who is winning. We remove likes that were not genuine, and the ranking follows.
• Where we have added likes carried over from our Discord, the haul says so — the number, and why, in our own words. You can always see how much of a total was earned here and how much was carried over. How likes work.

Getting the prize

• We write to the winner by Discord direct message, to the Discord account linked to their byereps account, and by email if there is one on the account. The 14 days run from the day we send that message, not from when you read it. Discord silently drops direct messages from people you are not friends with — please allow messages from server members for the duration of the season.
• If we get no reply within 14 days, or the winner declines, or a condition is not met, the prize passes to the next eligible entry, and so on. The prize is awarded.
• The prize is not exchangeable for cash.
• If you are under 18 when you win, we need written confirmation from a parent or guardian before we pay out. We send them a short plain-language note saying who we are, what the prize is, and what the Kakobuy condition means. Without that confirmation inside the 14-day window, the prize passes to the next entry.

Decisions and your rights

There is no entitlement to a prize beyond these conditions. Where these conditions leave a decision to us — for example whether a vote is genuine — we decide it, and we will explain our reasoning on request. Nothing here restricts your statutory rights or your access to the courts.

Commenting

• Comments are plain text. Links are not allowed — attach the item from our catalogue instead, using the search in the comment box.
• No contact details, no “DM me for a better price”, no discount codes. The only codes that are real are the ones on our Kakobuy page.
• Nobody from byereps will ever message you asking for your Kakobuy login, your password, or a payment to claim a prize. We contact winners through Discord, and we never ask for account details.
• Do not type out anything visible in someone’s photo — a name, an address, an order number. That is a removable offence and we remove it immediately.
• Be honest and be civil. No insults, nothing sexual, nothing illegal, no accusations you cannot back up.
• Your first comment is read by a person before it appears. That usually takes a few hours. After that your comments go live straight away.
• You can delete your own comment within five minutes of posting it. There is no editing — post it again instead.
• We remove comments that break these rules and we can stop someone commenting. Report any comment or haul with the flag button; we look at every report and tell you what we decided.
