Package tracker

A haul changes hands several times: seller to agent warehouse, warehouse to freight line, freight line to your national postal service. Each leg has its own tracking site, and the agent only shows you the first one. Paste any tracking number here and follow the parcel across all of them from a single box.

How it works

  1. Copy the tracking number from your agent once the parcel ships.
  2. Paste it in and the tracker works out which carrier it belongs to.
  3. Follow it from the agent warehouse through to your local delivery.

About this tool

The long silence in the middle is normal and catches everybody out. Between leaving the Chinese sorting centre and arriving in your country, a parcel is on a plane or a boat and simply does not scan — a week of nothing is not a lost parcel.

Common questions

My tracking has not updated in a week — is it lost?

Almost certainly not. Parcels stop scanning between the departure scan in China and the arrival scan in your country, because nothing scans them in transit. Seven to ten days of silence on an economy line is ordinary.

Which carriers does it cover?

The lines agents actually ship on — EMS, China Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS and the common consolidated freight lines — plus handover to your national postal service for the final leg.

The number is not recognised.

Fresh numbers often are not in any system for a day or two after the agent issues them, because the carrier has not scanned the parcel in yet. If it is still unknown after a few days, ask your agent to confirm the number.
